The best way to get in touch is via email. I will normally get back to you in less than 24 hours, often a lot quicker than that.
I’m afraid that as I teach in my office, the phone is often turned off, so really I’d rather people didn’t use it! But if it’s difficult for you to email, then do try my number (but be prepared to leave a message!).
And because I’m often teaching, I’m afraid I don’t encourage people to just drop in on me without an appointment. But if you’re in the area, and want to do that, please call the number above first – and if you’re lucky I’ll be happy to see you immediately!

How to Find me
If we do have a meeting arranged, or you have an appointment to do a test or interview, my office is only 5 minutes’ walk from the nearest Underground station, Clapham Common, on the Northern Line.
From Clapham Common tube station, follow a street called The Pavement until it becomes Old Town. Carry on walking past a small Sainsbury’s, a pub called The Sun, until you are outside a large building called Maritime House. Look across the wide street and you will see a building with a grey fence at the front. It is to the left of a small road called ‘Scout Lane’. There are signs that say ‘Linden Tree Nursery Schools’. Ring the bell marked ‘ELT’ by the front door, which is black. I will then buzz you in – my office is up one flight of stairs, on the first floor.
Clapham Common is also well served by bus. You can get here from Central London using bus numbers 155, 88, and 35. You can also use buses 35, 37 and 345 from Clapham Junction mainline station.
